Core Leadership

Alan Bright

Lead, Lion City Church

Jael Tan
Lead, LionReach Ministry

Alan is the Lead of Lion City Church, carrying a vision to see lives transformed through the Gospel of Grace and raised into spiritual maturity, freedom, and authority in Christ. His journey has been marked by a deep pursuit of truth, having walked away from Christianity at a young age, becoming an atheist and exploring various worldviews before encountering the life-changing power of the Gospel and the person of Jesus.

That encounter reshaped his understanding of identity, grace, and the finished work of the cross, forming the foundation of his calling today. Alan now ministers with a strong emphasis on discipleship, inner healing, and deliverance, helping individuals break free from strongholds, renew their minds, and walk in the fullness of who they are in Christ.

With a blend of pastoral care and practical leadership, he is passionate about building a Spirit-led, Christ-centered community that goes beyond moments into lasting transformation. Alongside Joy, he is committed to raising believers who are grounded in grace, led by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to live out their faith with clarity, authority, and purpose.

Joy Ranjita carries a deep love for Jesus and a heart to see people walk in true freedom. She is passionate about worship, people, and seeing lives transformed from the inside out. With a strong sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, Joy ministers through prayer, encouragement, and prophetic insight, creating spaces where others can encounter God’s love in a real and personal way.

She has experience serving in both kids and young adult ministry, where she has journeyed with individuals across different seasons of life, helping them grow in their identity in Christ. Joy believes that following Jesus is not just about church moments, but about walking closely with Him in everyday life, with freedom, authenticity, and purpose.

Alongside Alan, she is committed to building a Christ-centered community rooted in grace, discipleship, and the leading of the Spirit. Now

Joy Bright

CM, Lion City Church

Jael carries a bold passion for Jesus and a deep burden to see souls saved. With the heart of an evangelist and the spirit of a lioness, she is driven to make Christ known to the masses, one soul at a time. Her life reflects a fearless pursuit of the lost, grounded in love, conviction, and the power of the Gospel.

She has served extensively in youth ministry, journeying with young people through pivotal seasons of growth and identity, and walking closely with them as they discover their faith and purpose. Jael has also been part of mission trips across nations, carrying the message of Jesus beyond borders and into diverse communities, with a heart that burns to see lives transformed wherever she goes.

She loves creating opportunities for others to encounter Jesus in a real and personal way, and believes that the Gospel is not meant to be kept, but lived out and shared boldly. Jael is committed to raising a generation that is unashamed, Spirit-led, and on fire to reach the world for Christ.

Servant Leadership

At Lion City Church, we believe leadership begins with surrender, not status. True leadership is not about position or recognition, but about reflecting the heart of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve.

Servant leadership means choosing humility over prominence, people over platforms, and obedience over personal ambition. It is a posture of laying down our lives daily, to love, to lead, and to care for others the way Christ has first loved us.

We lead by example, not control. We walk with people, not ahead of them. Whether in moments seen or unseen, we believe that the greatest impact flows from a life rooted in love, faithfulness, and quiet obedience to the Holy Spirit.

In this house, leaders are not elevated above others, but are called to serve, equip, and raise others up. We are committed to building a culture where leadership multiplies, where every person is valued, and where Christ remains at the center of all we do.
